If this is your exchange, then if cost is important and you want the same provider for phone and BB have a look at Plusnet's packages.
Yes thats my local exchange.

The best Plusnet package gives unlimited phone calls but carries a download limit whereas my Virgin one is totally unlimited for the same price.

Hi Oldjim,
I know about that re. broadband but do you need to pay PN line rental if you take their Phone package including Broadband or are they happy for you to continue paying line rental to someone else (non LLU)?

You can't split the phone package and line rental as they are tied together
