Sorry for being ignorant - but yes I do now how to log in but do not no how to "purge" the emails. Thank you for your response.

I'm afraid I don't use Daisy so can't advise. What I'm suggesting may not even be the problem.

If you do need to purge old e-mail you might need to ensure you have archived copies for business reasons.

Hopefully someone who uses Daisy will tell you how to check.

Judging by the change of Subject I think this one is on Purple Cloud John, not Daisy.

This sounds very odd.

Is your boss using POP3; IMAP or webmail, which on Purple Cloud used to be Horde? Does he never delete any emails?

I missed the change in Subject. Can't help with Purple Cloud either.

My boss uses pop3 via outlook. When I log onto Purple Cloud, I go to Horde then inbox. I have deleted some emails from here, but it nows says There was an error deleting messages from the folder "Inbox". This is what the server said: [ALERT] COPY failed - no write permission or out of disk space.
It did allow me to delete some, but now won't. Think I must be making matters worse - a little knowledge and trying to sort it out I might have made it worse!!!

Do there appear to be a lot of e-mails there? Are they displayed with a strike through?

Sounds like an IMAP server. Horde has a purge option which will release the disc space used by deleted e-mails (which are not actually deleted until you use the purge command or empty the trash bin).

It says there are 613, some did appear with a line through, then I went to the help and it said that you had to create a TRASH folder and move the deleted to there, so I did and then emptied the TRASH folder, but now I cannot delete any emails at all so they do not appear with the line through as the message comes up.
