Matt, I tried the the solution given from the site, and now I get a 797 error. The BT engineer will be coming over tomorrow to have a look at the modem and see if it is faulty. So I will keep you guys posted. Thank you all for your help so far.

All,

Its turns out that the BT engineer had wired me into a idle port, therefore not syncing with my provider. Up and running at 73Mbps Down and 14Mbps Up.

The second BT engineer advise me that do not let the engineer leave without testing the connection between the modem and router is tested regardless if your are with BT or another provider.
