Slow Sky broadband

Hi guys and Girls,
We've had a slow connection speed the last few days and could really use some help!
We're in a rented flat, which has bundled sky included and our landlord has spoken with sky and they see no issues.
The router status shows the following:
Connection speed 384kbps down and 442 up
Line attenuation 65.5dB down and 44dB up
Noise margin 7.1dB down and 11dB up.

Don't know much about what this means to be honest, but the connection speed is definitely slow. Does anyone have any ideas... Please!!

line length looks to be long which is why the speed is low. Have you tried
connecting to the test socket of the NTE?

Tried thee test socket earlier and it didn't really make much difference. We are a fair way from the exchange and its never been fast. Usually around 1.1-1.4 down

when using the test socket do all the extension sockets stop getting a dial tone? also have you tried a quiet line test. Whats your current SNR margin?

don't worry found them in your original post they look ok.
To do the quiet line you must a corded analogue phone plug this into the test socket with the router being unplugged and dial 17070 option 2 then listen for any crackles or pops on the line if you hear any you have a voice line fault

Ok cool. Haven't got a corded phone at home, but there are loads of old ones sitting in storage at work, so I'll borrow one on Monday... Knew it was a good idea to tell them to to keep some! Really appreciate all your help

Always good to have a corded phone as a back up to a cordless or mobile as a powercut renders a cordless phone useless.

No quite line test on full Sky LLU via 17070.

Especially bearing in mind the recent forecasts and discussions!
