You'll only be unhappy again anyway.

Things haven't really changed that much.

I think the chain relating to that is from the second sentence of this post, via therioman and Andrew.

Thanks for all of the replies on this.

I've since found out about the new even more aggressive throttling that they're now implementing to their 'unlimited' 'superfast' service.

Speaking to the neighbours, it seems that the service is now a lot worse on an evening, and there are regular outages to contend with now.

The original Superhub is still being supplied as well until their stocks run out!!!

As one poster said, I'd only be unhappy again.

I'm on 120. It's not really that bad. I hit the STM about an hour ago and got throttled to 70.5 (for 2 hours) some see this as very bad I see it as better than the speed I used to get.

Like you I won't be getting FTTC on my cab jut all those around me so it's my only real option.

a lot of people on the forums have gone to OFCOM and the ASA. They are still customers.

But the thing is they clearly can't accommodate everyone. if they could there be no rhyme or reason for STM to exist!

if been throttled to 70 is your only worry then you are a lucky VM customer, the unlucky ones the STM is irrelevant as they cant hit the throttled speeds anyway due to congestion.
