I had Sky broadband on a BT line, and the wholesale test wouldn't run for me either.

So BT had given the activation date to Sky of today and a BT engineer was at the cabinet at 1330. Still no fibre and the engineer left notes saying "requires further work". No explanation as to what work, when or anything.

OR have given no notes to Sky to say nothing will be active till the 5th. If it was the 5th OR wouldn't keep giving out activation dates.

This really is a pathetic situation and i'm going to write to ofcom. I'm seriously [censored] off with this.

Confirm what you mean by wholesale test, i.e. phone number look up for availability

OR

The BT Wholesale speed test.

Which is correct for a SMPF LLU connection, which is what a Sky connection with BT line rental most likely is. In that case BT wholesale know nothing about your broadband connection

The diagnostics section hasn't given the usual complete data results for my PN connection in the last two weeks, just tried it a couple of minutes ago server issues ....... still borked.

I'll try again just now smile

EDIT:- SNAFU

Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information

Looks like we got in just before they announced the 5th Nov date. The engineer is apparently going out to activate our line today. Here's to 7th time lucky!
