I expect to be able to travel at the maximum speed allowed, in my car, but sometimes it just isn't possible.

One person's expectations are another person's pipe-dreams.

As I mentioned above, asking for what was promised isn't "supposed" to be a problem...

However I suppose if your not affected in the same or similar way then you wouldn't understand that!

Plusnet Unlimited 21CN 4200/800 @ 4.2Km > TP-Link TD-W8968v3 - BQM IPv4
Plusnet Fibre Extra 66000/20000 @ 450m > HG612 (Unlocked) > Linksys LRT224 - BQM IPv4

It was your "expectation" to play games at any time that seemed strange.

Surely the world wide web/internet was developed for more interesting and informative uses?

Yes correct, It was my "expectation" to play online gaming at anytime, my reason for this was because I was told I could...

Regardless of what the world wide web was developed for, one of its sues is Online Gaming... so I expect to do that with no issues!

If their is limits on online gaming then my ISP and many others are obviously making promises they can't keep to millions then!

I don't think I have ever seen any ISP put a "promise" in it's advertising or other promotional material.

All do however have caveats in their Terms & Conditions that you are requested to confirm you have read and understood at sign-up time.

Even the Sky and BT type of "We'll never slow you down" has to be read with huge emphasis on the "We". They don't say that your broadband will never be slowed down. Just that they won't use traffic management to decrease the throughput capacity on your line.

Were proud to unveil our new-look website today. All the features youre used to are still here, but weve given it a bit of a spruce up so it integrates with our new marketing campaign. The first ever Plusnet TV ads will also make their debut today. Were really excited about our ads. Click More to have a look. Wed love to know what you think of them.

Our new campaign shows, in a no-nonsense yet entertaining way, how a small broadband company with a proud Yorkshire heritage offers great value broadband. We summed it up as Good honest broadband from Yorkshire.

Oh, and one more thing. Weve got a new price promise thats the cornerstone of our new campaign:

We wont be beat on price.
