Slow Usenet speed

I have been usind Newdemon for sometime, I used to get a solid 4 mbit. I have since upgraded to 20 mbit, the most I can get is still 4 mbit. I get full speed with the news.ntlworld.com server. My connection to Newsdemon goes to Washington. I have tested Newsdemon on another Isp and got 12 mbit.

Anyone hear getting full speed on non Ntl news servers, If so what Usenet companies?

I am using http://www.100proofnews.com/ and get full speed from them. They have a server in London too. Looks like they're around half the price of NewsDemon as well.

What happens of you go over your monthly allowance?

New one is limited to 100 gig a month, for $12 around �6 a month. I was geting Unlimited with Newsdemon for �7.50 a month(entered a coupon), but I was only getting at most 4 mbit with that.

I get full speed with Ntl, and with the new server. I use newsbin and connect to Ntl 30 times, you then get full speed all the time. With the new server I have to connect about 4 times to achieve full speed.

change your server address to europe.newsdemon.com

That costs more, I have cancelled and use 100proofnews, I get full speed with that.
