On Saturday morning, I had a knock on the door from two VM installation supervisors, who had come to enquire about the level of service and problems with service since my installation. Well my picture sometimes went blocky and the internet would drop off in speed quite considerably.
Well it all comes down to the VM install technician used internal cabling to do the external cabling work, so signal was degrading on its way to the box. Engineers have no run a seperate fibre into the block, and given me my own dedicated white box on the ground floor out of view from members of the public and have also put the cable where I wanted.
This VM company seem to be more then willing to correct mistakes and [censored] installations.
Hopefully I won't see the speed drop offs and picture degrading over the course of a evening now.
Reckon this foul up is enough to persuade VM to send me out a V+Box and free HD subs for a year? (Still haven't recieved my wireless router either, 14 days and counting!)
