Leaving Virgin but..

My cable broadband is coming to an end on the 4th of november and I was told by the customer service agent that they will send out a pre payed envelope for me to return the super ([censored]) hub I allways thought after my contract the modem was mine?

Well when I was with o2 the first time round I got to keep my modem

Varies according to the terms and conditions of the provider.

The cable modem is not really of much use on other services anyway.

They include it in the terms now that the Superhub remains their property and has to be returned if you stop being a customer. I didn't quite sign in blood for mine, but saw that in the notes in the box.
