smtp upload problems

Anyone getting problems sending large files via outlook.

Been trying to send a 7mb file from outlook on my virgin bb and it's not working. Tried various outlook account including my virgin one and it says the smtp server timed out after 60seconds.

I was just wondering it their was a temp prolem or something,

Increase the server timeout in outlook to say.. 5 minutes

To be honest though, if you're sending a large file like that - you are probably going to cause a similar problem at the other end, and unless they increase their server timeout too, they will not be able to recieve it.

I would suggest you upload the file to some webspace and just send them the link
