[link to this post]

hi to everyone. a friend has a webstar modem, previously blueyonder was isp, and i recommended that she connect to her pc using ethernet. she has lost all the paperwork that came with the kit and does not know the address for the configuration page, so we cannot run set up. i am not a virgin customer and very much clueless. would appreciate some info please or possibly a link to some kind of support. no luck googling so far.

http://192.168.100.1 may help! That's for the NTL modem anyway. Not sure if it works with the webstar one but worth a try.

Yep, that's the IP address for the webstar. However, there are no settings that the user can change.

Plug ethernet cable into modem and PC, make sure the ethernet card is enabled in Network Connections. Turn modem and PC on. That's it, surf away.
