i think the 200mb trail has a 6mb upload speed but not 100% sure

VM did say they would put the upload speed up by Christmas. Think that was to shut their customers up?

VM never said they would increase upstream speeds that was the rumour mill. I understand that a few different upstream speeds are being tested on the trial, I heard 5 and 6Mbit.

Proportionally this is the same as the 50Mbit so doesn't give any clue for an increase - it is, as per, the bare minimum to support the downstream depending on the protocal being used to download, along with a small additional margin.

The current 50Mb upload is about 1.5Mb? I'm sure I read it would be increasing "later" to about 2.5-3Mb. Is that still going to happen?

*Shrug* it was a rumour as I mentioned earlier. No idea if it's going to be happening. Given that Virgin will have no real speed challenge downstream then unless BT make an 'issue' of their higher upstream it won't be touched.
