Holy cow!! That kinda puts my 60GB on a busy month into perspective!

I know! Even for me that's a lot.. However try and cancel with VM and they will tell you it's totally and truely unlimited usage. I guess as this time they aren#'t kidding.,

For me 500GB is a slack month. But im going to see how much I can do. I managed on 24mb Bulldog to do 8TB in a month 24/7 on this should be able to hit 15-20TB

I download a fair bit, well what i thought was a far bit. So far this week ive done about 30GB and thats a LOT for me. Back when on 8mb with Zen id do 40gb ish a month and not a week like i am now lol

Well If I say i'll only be accused by ignition that its all illegal. He needs to chilll out and stop being a disgrunted ex employee..

It's never accurate. Best off trying another,. The best results I got were from speedtest.net to the faroe islands and also www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk both gave 50mbps everytime.

He's not a disgruntled ex employee and happily and voluntarily left VM/ntl aaages ago, he was just amused by your earlier posts and even more so by the defensiveness when queried on them. Despite being on the Internet since 1994 he is also still looking for ways to watch 160GB of streaming and legally downloaded DVD images and struggling despite a Google copy/paste of not very well researched sites.

In other news I have asked VM's AUP team about their practise of writing to people for as little as 5GB/day on XL while permitting 150GB/day+ on XXL even though they share the same network. The total silence thusfar has been deeply reassuring and leads me to believe they still can't monitor the 50Mbps accounts properly, which isn't really a shock they couldn't monitor the Motorola kit previously.
