If you are going to tell Virgin what you think of them. Then tell them. Not a bunch of Virgins customers that use this place.
300gb is quite a lot though.. And if it was only a warning, then why throw your toys out the pram? Not many ISP's would give you that speed and download capacity, much less let you off with a mere warning.

Virgin might not be perfect, but damn, they are amongst the lesser of the evils by quite some margin as I see it.

Would you not be better to use the £40 odd to buy BlueRay discs and keep the blood pressure down.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1 & VM 2Mb
Now O2 standard

They must hate you then..

On 4 seperate occasions i downloaded:

483GB
322GB
394GB
and
861GB

The massive 861GB is when i went on a massive downloading spree, Linux distros, windows trials and all my steam games witch on their own are just over 400GB blush

Did not get 1 letter from them, this was when i was on 20mb

BT 8MB

If that is the case then these 20 - 50 mb products should be dropped citing there is no enough capacity?

Speed and capacity are not the same thing.

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem.

I take it you gave it a rest and went out on the Firiday night then......

I appreciate you're frustrated with Virgin and you raise a valid query so I've not deleted your post, but I suggest you watch your language..

Yes but they are directly or indirectly related to each other...with higher speeds you transfer large amount of data in a relatively shorter time hence choking the bandwidth...

If you have more capacity then you can offer higher speeds without affecting other users.

If VM offered speeds of max 5mb on their current 50mb infrastructure to all their users do you think all the users will be affected even if the small numberofif heavy users downloaded 24 X 7 ?
