above are cities with severe congestion issues. and why are they trialling 1.75 up when the product will be 10 up?
1) Because it would be a waste of time, there are specific reasons to trial and objectives in mind. Congestion would render such trials invalid.
2) I would hazard a guess they are trialling downstream. They can trial boosts in one direction without trialling them in the other.
Appreciate that your congestion is annoying but it's absolutely nothing to do with this topic. If the capacity is there on the downstream there's nothing wrong about trialling the increased speed. Virgin and previously both ntl and Telewest trialled uplifts silently all the time.
