Two routers

I have a new superhub installed and want to know if it's possible to run another router off of it via a cat 5 cable? the signal strength from the superhub is less than super and would like to run one router upstairs and one down? what are the conficts?

You can turn most wireless routers into wireless access points by disabling DHCP and plugging the LAN cable from the primary router (in your case the superhub) into the LAN port of the secondary router (not the WAN port).

Set the wireless security the same (same SSID, encryption and passphase etc) but set the superhub to channel 1 and the other router to channel 13. This way they wont interfere that much with each other.

Netgear are a great router. I have the WNR2000v2 and touch wood never had a days trouble with it so far.

I've been running my WNR2000 as a wireless access point since I got 50Mb - its never let me down.

Soz, it's early, and I couldn't resist that.

I connected using a superhub downstairs and a Netgear WNDR3300 upstairs

On some vista laptops it shows a list of oppoe (or something similar) connections are available and not the usual list. bthomehub, netgear etc
why is this as the xp laptops are all OK
