100MB Who has it?

I have just gotten the 100MB and is it me or during peak times, the download speed slows down to 50MB speed. Also it seems most websites don't really support the speed.

got it here and tbh had no problems with it....does what it is meant to do..

though i would agree with you in the fact that most of the speed testers don't seam to be able to handle the speed...downloading with test files i am getting on average 11.92MB/s = 95.36 Mbps..i get that most times of the day..

not really noticed much of a slow down during the day..but talking to a tech guy the other day from VM i was told i am the only 100Mb user on my UBR and only 6 other 50Mb users..so i am lucky in the fact that my area does not have that many users..

i have found both of them to be quite accurate when comparing the speed test result and the graph on my bandwidth monitor..

Well I've got 50mbit and I would be just as happy on 30 -- it really makes so little difference unless your setup and internet usage is aligned with it.

Firstly, loads and loads of sites just can't push out 50/100mbit. If you're using newsgroups or filelocker services then you won't have any problems, but downloading off various sites and p2p very rarely maxes my speed out.

Secondly, and more importantly, WiFi just isn't capable of handling the speeds imo, especially if you live in a densely populated block of flats like me. Again, if you have a good ethernet system then it's not a problem, but I'm often just sitting on the sofa with my laptop.
