below are ping monitors (need to enabled respond to ping on your router, if its the hub or superhub its under DMZ, just tick the box and press ok, do not put any number in the DMZ box should be 0 leave it as is)

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping norm 5 mins if there is an spot open for the test
http://f8lure.mouselike.org (takes 5mins to 1hr to start, not as good as TB ping but still useful)

they should start showing ping results after 10 mins, any packet loss or high pings will lower your download speed and can make gaming annoying (just look at mine in the sig around 8pm) but best to run over 24 hrs to get an good overview of your connection

I suspect there is many areas not at 200+ tho and a lot of variance on customer density. Which is why we have some VM customers wondering what the fuss is all about.

Last night I had an outage and I have been on docsis1 since with massively improved latency although i cant max out the download speeds.

I must say since Sky Anytime+ was launched for any ISP my usage has gone up about 6-fold. In the last 8 days my Superhub registers 44 GB, most of which will be at peak time, that's more than I usually use in a month. Maybe that also partially explains why things have got worse recently, if a lot of people are doing the same.
