Damaged Green Cabinets

Well not quite ... around here there are several open and damaged cabinets and they have been that way for years (in one or two cases). BT often gets a call about open cabinets and when the Tech arrives to find it is a VM cabinet there is nothing he can do - but I have seen many cases where the BT Tech will actually re-fit the door and then tape everything shut - and it will stay that way for months!

I'm struggling to get VM to fix an open door on a cabinet which I know serves my home. The irony is when engineers visited in December to do a national speed upgrade they did their work and blatantly left an already damaged box but never did a hoot about it.

Theirs quite a few in my local towns, VM do not really seem that fussed to fix them.

I reported that a door had been stolen (by metal thieves?) and it was replaced the same day! Definitely VM. If you go through the telephone options menus it's there somewhere.

remember some of these cabinets are not even owned by BT or Virgin Media

I have one outside my local exchange and I asked why they had not replaced it to be told it was owned by a company such as fujitsu
