I'm waiting for the upgrade to be finished and with it I hope the contention issues will be resolved then we will see how MJ12 performs. The most to date was when I had 50/5 and that did ~15TB one month.

I too pushed it hard after getting one of VM's letters. The idea was to keep it down during the evening but go truly unlimited at all other times.

I had a little play with MJ12 the other day. It will need multiple nodes to really chew up the data. Still waiting for my price increase notice - I don't want to be a high user when asking for the rise to be be removed smile Of course if it isn't removed then I'll be doing all I can to get my monies worth while deciding which alternative provider to use. TBH I could probably just take standard ADSL but will probably pick FTTC.

ive not downloaded that much since dec 2007 as thats when i have info going back to on my downloads.

Since Dec 07 ive managed 10.05TB.

well you dont need 120mbit to download a lot.

a 10mbit connection can do tb's, a 30mbit connection can do almost 10tb.

a 30mbit connection if not congested can comfortably handle large downloads, streaming etc. all at same time.

LOL Into my 29 day just checked hit 7TB Been running maxed out connection since the 1st august.
