So stop bleating on and on on these forums about what you do or don't do. It's between you and your gatepost so keep it that way.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1 & VM 2Mb
Now O2 standard

Its made a considerable difference - for the better - for me. Even resolved an issue where DNS servers were not being allocated automatically.

This is how it used to be:
My Broadband Ping

This is it now:
My Broadband Ping

Yes yours shows lower latency than mine - which router are you using?

Also - as I have never used a separate modem and router - how do you configure the super hub 2 and the new router ? (wasn't able to find any details on the Virgin forums) . Thanks!

Im using a Netgear WNDR3700v4. U can get them in PC World or Argos for £89.99 and just do the firmware updates when u get it.

To configure just put the SH into modem mode and plug an ethernet lead into the port which is active on the hub which it will show u a diagram of on screen and then the other end to internet port on the hub. Then using a seperate ethernet cable plug into port 1 on router and then into ur PC or laptop.

U can configure router by following instructions upon setup.

AMD FX-4100 X4, MSI 990FXA-GD80, 16GB DDR 3 Cosair Vengence 1600Mhz, 9351.1GB Hard Disk Space, 2GB ATI 6670 HD PCI-E 16x Graphics, 850watt PSU.
