Using Skype impossible using VM

I have what is *supposed* to be a fast internet connection , but I find it absolutely useless trying to use Skype as is either a bad picture and sound quality is equally rubbish. Now in past day i am watching Skype icon and it keeps going on and then off, on and then off, on and then off continuously. I tried using it and keeps dropping connection all the time . Why should it be going on and off repeatedly ?

This is almost certainly not a generic issue about Skype over VM - I and others I know use it quite successfully all the time.

Phone VM or contact them through their support forums and get your connection checked.

i use skype all the time on my VM connection perfectly so it must be something either your connection or some other software on your PC interfearing.

No issues here with VM and Skype.

Occasional call quality issues, but that could be my ageing PC

I have chatted using video with Ukraine , USA , Australia , Ireland and England

Rarely any problems [ I can think of one friend who has to use Voice only as he does not have a fast line ]

Drops are a rarity

Could be a congestion issue...
