Are Virgin throttleing again?

I thought Virgin Media had removed restrictions but it seems to me they are reducing speed on downloads again.

I can run a speed test at full speed but start my news client up and within a minute the speed drops to a steady 6MB/s

might be congestion.

did VM ever fully remove throttling?

6MB/s or 6mb/s

There's a big difference between the two...

60mbps converts to 7.5MB/s

so you wouldn't be much below your target with 6MB/s
