Re: Price Increases (Q4 2014)

I'm on the 50mb service, but to be honest - whilst it appears fast - which is nice for the occasional download there seems to be more of an initial lag, which is something my Zen connection never seemed to have. I've got another couple of weeks or so before my 28 day trial is up.

Plus my Zen upload speed has got better since Openreach fixed an exchange issue. Seeing my local cab with less than secure doors is putting me off also.

Current on Zen, getting 4876 down - 744 up
Exchange is Fibre enabled, street cab not economically viable to upgrade.

Well if you find it better to have Zen then thats up to you...

I've just cancelled one of my Virgin accounts and switched it to plusnet ADSL is Kings Norton..

I should get about the same speeds your getting on your ADSL now, As I don't live there and the usage in the last month has been around 3-5gb.

Adsl certainly has its speed problems, but at least I can trust zen. I will be cancelling in the morning. The Virgin gear has now been disconnected and external cabling removed.

Cancellation was a fairly painless exercise - they offered a discount or 100mb - but I chose to cancel. Just awaiting a box to send the superhub back now.
