I am on ordinary cable. As mentioned VM are no longer installing POTS.
Oh - they are offering 350 and a phone line for £35 a month on res - so.... ? is that not POTS? Or do you mean exchange type connections when they did ADSL?
Could quite easily be cable with VoIP. From VM's point of view it doesn't really make any difference and indeed they want all the customers on VoIP sooner or later. Far more efficient than running the separate, parallel network.
Makes sense - I find Cable with Skype much better than a landline ever could be
By VoIP I'm referring to VM's own service. Handset plugged into the RJ-11 port on the Superhub, voice service delivered over the DOCSIS broadband network.
