Is your area a recent infill, or has the infrastructure been there a long time? Wonder if some larger infill areas didnt get the POTS equipment?

My other house that had VM installed 2nd March was part of the project lightening infill to an ex. Yorkshire Cable estate (Installed around 2 years) but still got POTS.

The street cabinet has been there since well before VM, The property on one side of me is normal POTS.

I was told well before installation that they will not install POTS. ( December 2017)

Its a shame VM are taking so long to roll it out in that case as I would have much preferred to have not had an ugly master socket. I wonder if they are converting areas that have no space for on anymore POTS when adding extra capacity for more subscribers.
