The Puma issue was worked around a long time ago now, so you won't be affected by that. I and others had issues back in March, it seems that a firmware update to the hub caused some sort of conflict between pfSense DNS Resolver mode and the hub but others figured out how to over come that by using forwarder mode - hopefully I've remembered that correctly.

Anyway I have a hub 3 in modem mode paired up with pfSense and 350/30

I should also say that our area is a brand new area with full fibre to the house, so no coax in the street, I went live about two and half years ago.

Thanks R0nski... I'm glad they did get the issues sorted out. I kind of stopped following it after I got my Hub2 'downgrade'! I did search thinkbroadband for a news story about it but didn't find anything.

I guess I'll take a small risk and upgrade my speed.

Moving to FTTC in a couple of weeks to see it solves the issue.

Shame that I'll leave 200mbit for 48mbit if I am lucky. But can't continue with this unusable broadband connection.

Oh man, that is awful (unless you only need internet access between 3am and 8am)!

The 'slower' FTTC will probably feel like a breath of fresh air for you. It's shocking VM can let any area get anywhere near as bad as this. Thanks for posting.

It's interesting though that it's actually not the worst during evening/night heavy streaming time, but is bad during business hours.

Here is a link to our BQM. We have a hub 3 in standard mode and our oomph package was recently upgraded from M500 to M600. The family regularly moan about freezing and dropouts and we even had a total stop today for about 40 mins?

Wow. The difference is huge to my BQM.
My modem levels are good so I don't know if there might be another cause to this or maybe you are in a less congested node.
