Not boring in the slightest - I think I had seen before that AS5089 (Virgin) sat behind AS6830 (Liberty Global), but peeringdb for LINX 1 shows 5089 with 2x100G ports but 6830 only with a 10G port. Didn't pay too much attention at the time, but now that I look closer 6830 is present on many IXs but only at 10G. All private peering I suppose?
6830 want others to pay to peer. The return path was via LINX but outbound Aorta / NTT transit.
In case peeringdb isn't updated you can see the actual member info on for LINX and a little bit on LONAP.
https://portal.linx.net/members/members-ip-asn (tick at least service speed, switch slot and maybe location)
https://www.lonap.net/members (I don't see VM on here, useful to include anyway)
AS5089 = 2x100G LINX LON1 and 1x100G LINX Manchester
AS6830 = 1x10G LINX LON1
