In reply to a post by RR_The_IT_Guy:Checked the logs at the time, it happened last night aswell, once it started doing a bootloop then 5 hours later it was intensional since I upgreaded to M500.
It's weird, I have requested a new HUB since my HUB 3 is buggy, the ethernet ports don't work half the time, and thats in modem mode.
I'm on M200, and I only use 1 ethernet port since its in modem mode. I've left the cable connected for 18 months, always use port 1 as the other ports don't appear to work, as the first device detected is locked to. (This was the case with the original standalone cable modems that had only one ethernet, before the Hub's appeared, all the way back to the 3Com CMX for the old 512/128 service for the pilot areas in 1999).
Should I ask for a HUB 4 or stick to 3?Either should work, there are reports the Hub 4 might help if you happen to be in an area with additional channels. However as you are not on Gig1, it may be that these channels wouldn't be available to your service tier, the modem is configured remotely of course.
Would the extra dociss channels benifit me on such a speed tier?Only someone whom knows how VM operate their network can advise. You shouldn't need them to achieve the 500 or lower speeds, as they were added for Gig1.
