Hi, I am in the unfortunate position of having to use my Super Hub 3 as a temporary router rather than in modem mode because my Asus router just died after 8 years.
I have always had BQM enabled but I can't see an obvious way to allow WAN ping on the super hub 3. Can someone please let me know how to do this? I Had a good search around but could not find helpful suggestions.
Thanks.
Back when I had one, my hub was faulty and worked most the time and would stop at random, I recommend logging a fault and asking for a HUB5, they are more robust. I got through more than 5 HUB 3's those things were useless.
2 of them were smouldering the engineer advised that anything more than a handful of devices they start to overheat and die.
I remember 2 of them the ethernet ports just died or became intermittent depending which one was used, in the end I used my own kit and theirs in modem mode other than when engineers were attending.
Their thing could barely cope having over 55 devices connected to it seemed to push it over the edge.
Many Thanks,
RR-THE-IT-GUY
