Address missing from database

[link to this post]

Hi folks,

I've been attempting for a good while now to try to get VM to recognise my address. They appear to have all other flats within my building but just not mine.

I've stayed here for nearly a year now but when moving in I noticed the address was missing from the address checker when trying to move services over from my previously property. I spend may hours on the phone to them, posting in the forums as some suggested all to no avail.

One day when looking at the business website I was able to see my address, and given the lack of other decent options in my area, I signed up for a business plan. I'm coming up for renewal in the next few months so I'll take an suggestions as to how to fix this.

Thanks!

you will be better off posting in the VM community forum for this one.

https://community.virginmedia.com/

There is actual VM staff there that may be able to help you better than we can.

Thanks Seansmit17,

I've tried that a few times only to be led on by VM staff who advise they'll update me when they can. It's been over three months since I last heard back.

I appreciate I'm in the wrong place but I'll try anything at this rate smile

You need to chase them again, VM are the only people who can flip addresses between residential and business, and the only way to get someone competent at VM is on their forum.

I have got exactly the same problem I wrote to VM and to the community and they just fobbed me off.

If they cannot manage a database that you can download then what will they be like at supplying internet
