mega.nz accessibility on broadband

[link to this post]

Hello,

CityFibre finished setting up our street about last month and I believe that Vodafone may be available at some point for us.

Firstly, how long did it take for your street to be fully available with operators, eg. Vodafone etc. after CityFibre had finished their works?

Secondly, Vodafone on mobile data blocks the cloud storage service mega.nz - do you know if they do this for residential broadband too, please?

Thank you in advance,
Jakub

I can access mega.nz which redirects to mega.io (front page) from my vodafone FTTC connected machine.

Vodafone Fibre (Superfast2 - 80/20), Draytek 130, DrayTek 2925, DrayTek AP-910c x 2
(Gone but not forgotten: AP-700, 2820n x 2, 2800vg, 2800, HG612)

Speedtests:
ThinkBB - Mini | ThinkBB - Full | Speedtest.net

Tried on my Voda mobile - redirects to mega.io

Hello, this is on Mega's side, however you will not be able to log in as this uses mega.nz as the backend server. Hopefully you will still be able to access via broadband?

Could I ask - are you able to log in though? what I've found with mega.io is that it uses mega.nz on the backend and it does not let you log in even though the front page shows.

The server redirects to mega.io for any connection that the server determines is from the UK / particular geography - it's not just a quirk of Vodafone UK.

If you really are having further issues then I would suggest a VPN.
