Vodafone Digital Voice on Gigaset

Has anyone managed to get their residential digital voice service running on a gigaset?

I have the N300A base station and despite having been sent all the settings by Vodafone CS for my phone account I cant get the line to register on the giagset.

We never got any gigaset devices to connect. We had a compatible list on the Vodafone forums but that's beyond dead now so a lot of work lost there.
The simple fact is Vodafone decided in their wisdom (read foolishness) to change some rather obscure settings on their digital voice services that aren't even exposed in most consumer products.

thanks for this - thought this would be the case - I'm not going to put my VF router on just so I can use the phone line they provide - will continue with my A&A VOIP on the gigaset instead.

Nearly working on Grandstream WP826 Wifi phone. I can get 3 consecutive calls to work but then 4th fails because my phone thinks its busy when it isn't (didn't clear previous call properly). Waiting for a 2 minute timeout and reboot fixes it and I can get the 5th to work.
There is also a bit of echo on the line.

I think there are phone settings that I haven't tuned correctly, it seams to be a teardown and jitter issue issue
