Are the machines still configured to use your previous gateway? I ran into problems when I changed my router a few months ago and the router address changed from .254 to .1. It caused all sorts of random errors until I refreshed connections. My server which has a fixed IP address was the most affected. IPv6 was unaffected which confused me for quite a while.

No, it wasn't that. I pretty much knew my local network was fine. Turned out to be content settings chez Vodafone.
