Zen, VoIP & Receiving Telephone Call Options

[link to this post]

New Zen customers do not get telephone capability unless they buy a call package. Zen have confirmed that this means no incoming calls without the call package.

As a number of people who call us cannot phone mobiles cheaply do we have any sane options to keep our ability to receive landline calls other than buying the Zen package?

Yes. Don’t use Zen’s VoIP / digital voice service but a 3rd party VoIP service like Sipgate which doesn’t require any call packages (or even credit) to receive calls on a “landline”.
