I am on version 1.0.35.4. I see the latest version is 1.0.41.2
Do I need to upgrade the firmware? Can I do it from within the configs of the HT801 adaptor?

Appreciated this guide. My question was if it is necessary to update?

If there is a change-log for firmware revision - is there anything on there that fixes a potential issue you have?

No issues so far. Having looked at change logs for the firmware, not sure if I missed any important fixes to need a change

You can always revert to the previous firmware version if it all goes to pot in any event.
