ADSL/VDSL Router with VoIP

A colleague is looking for an ADSL/VDSL Router with built in VoIP

Any suggestions for a low cost one please?

tp-link and draytek both do routers with VoIP, but they are anything but cheep, you would be better off using an sip ATA or sip DECT.

The Technicolor DGA4134 (as supplied by AAISP, and we have one supplied by Giganet) isn't cheap at full price but you can get it for £60 on Ebay. Supports VDSL & VoIP.

My colleague will be having a new connection so will need a router in any case. One with built in VoIP would (should) be easier to set up overall. I use VoIP with an ATA, but am looking for a minimal install for my elderly non tech colleague.

I think you will be hard pressed to find a low cost one new.

In addition to the suggestions by others the Fritz!Box which Zen supply is good, supports ADSL/VDSL/FTTP WAN with built in VoIP plus DECT base. They can be picked up on eBay and similar at a reasonable price, a factory reset and configured to use ‘other internet service provider’ during setup disables the autoprovisioning. I've used one on ADSL from CIX plus VoIP from AAISP without any issues.

ZyXEL also have a good reputation, although I've not tried any myself.
