What happens during an FTTP to FTTP DV migration?

I know the ins and outs of a FTTC to FTTP voice migration but what happens between say a BT Digital Voice to Vodafone Digital Voice migration in which both products are FTTP?

Or say I put in a DV number into AAISP to get it ported, would this cancel the FTTP service with that ISP?
