Skype Bug

[link to this post]

Has anyone had a similar problem with Skype?
When clicking a link, in IE7, I briefly get a flash of "Skype........" on the top IE address bar. I have had IE crash several times since installing Skype, each time there is an attempt to send an error report to Skype, similar to Microsoft error reporting.
This occurs even though Skype is not running.
Is there a Trojan in the Skype software?

Is the Skype software itself a trojan ?

It has a feature to put a toolbar item for making phone numbers clickable to dial out over Skype, maybe that's bust. The whole shebang collapsed earlier in the week

I went into program files/skype/toolbars/internet explorer, and removed the toolbar. A bit of a fight, but a little programme called "unlocker" got rid of it. Spybot sees it as a BHO. Hopefully that may have stopped the problem. All O/K so far, no more crashes.
