Multi Line DECT Phones

[link to this post]

Do these exist?

I want to connect the phone to my landline, and the FXS ports on my router, then depending on the called number, select which line to use.

I know there is a siement DECT/VoIP device, but that uses ethernet, I already have the VoIP equipemtn inside my router so wish to use this.

So I need a DECT handset with 2 or more phone lines and answerphone capability.

Any suggestions??

you may be able to find a BT Airway system
http://www.ciao.co.uk/Airway__6494208

a bit old fashioned and heavy but do the job.

Dectsys is the other one I found

Thanks for the post. Checked them out, like you say the AIrway is a little heavy handed. The other is just way too expensive. I think we will have to stick with the 2 phone system we have currently. Will keep looking though as there freely available in the US.

tried Siemens site in Germany ? Or putting a 2-line PABX in front of a standard DECT setup ?

Never thought of the PABX approach. A little OTT for a house setup, but would work. Will have a look on ebay for a tiny neat unit.

I got one off Ebay for <100. Allows you to keep existing DECT so may be cost effective.
