Having read various references to Truecall blockers not always working with voip adapters built into ADSL modems, I raised a technical query with the manufacturers.
I've just had a call back from them saying newer models of Truecall should work. The newer models have a label on them "Truecall Callblocker" and have a volume control on the side of the case. Older models just say Truecall and do not have a volume control. In some cases a firmware update might be needed and they will arrange this over the phone and they confirmed that firmware upgrade has be tested over a VOIP interface.
Their engineer could not have been more helpful even when I said I was planning to buy a used model on ebay.
Hope this might be of use to others.
