Good Evening,

I was wondering if anyone can help me set up Cisco SPA508G with VoIPFone?

I have it successfully set up with SipGate on Line 1, but I cannot get the settings sorted for VoIPFone.

VF have offered to help but it needs to be between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri which is when I am working.

Any help would be appreciated.

i might be able to help. just respond by saying i know my username and the password for Voipfone. This combination must not be used anywhere else. A screen shot of the configuration page of the Cisco SPA508G for Line 2 would be handy.

Thanks for the offer, I resolved the issue by calling VF who advised me where the password for my VoIP account was. Turns out I had been using the wrong password.

Sipgate allow multiple handset registrations. It puts me off Voipfone that they have chosen to nobble their service in this way, to force people to pay per handset rather than per number.

I agree, I had Sipgate set up on an app and the Cisco phone with no issues.

But VF specifically told me I cannot use the app and the phone.

I am with Voipfone and I pay per number not per number of handsets.

Do you use the VoIPFone app and a SIP phone?
