In reply to a post by The_Voyager:
I don't think the OFCOM requirement has kicked in yet - so might have to wait until then

From my experience there's a lot of sorting out to be done before porting numbers becomes a smooth operation, I found it impossible to port a number from TalkTalk Business to TalkTalk Residential which was ridiculess.

Yes it is a bit of a nightmare, mine is just a residential number, but I've had it since 04/96 so didn't want to lose it, a couple of friends still call me on it, as do a couple of businesses, but seeing as I don't use it for outgoing calls anymore thought why do I need to pay £5.99/m for 100 minutes, when I get unlimited on the mobile

Pleased to hear that you have now ported to A&A.

How did you find out that your number was held by LCP Colt?

I may have a similar problem with Teleappliant.

Cheers!

It took me sending a reminder to them before they replied
