Gigaclear Setup

[link to this post]

Hi All,

I have the Gigaclear Home phone solution seems to work quite well, only I have to use 44 in front of any numbers I dial out with. Which can be a pain as some numbers seem to reject calls coming in with an international prefix. I was going to have a nose in the Grandstream ATA device web interface to see if anything could be changed, assuming it's not controlled in the server. However the ATA is not plugged into the router it is plugged into the modem, so even though I have found the IP unless the p.c. is on the same network as the ATA I can't use the web interface.

Has anyone got any ideas? I was tempted to put a switch on the other port, but not even sure even if there is a DHCP server would give me an ip address.

I have had Gigaclear FTTP for 8 years, I mainly use Voipfone for calls via a Cisco SPA 112 which is connected to a wired phone and a Gigaset N300 Dect base station.

The N300 is also registered to Sipgate and A&A,

I have a 24 port switch. No issues with DHCP.

That's a dialplan issue. Not familiar with the Gigaclear but it should be possible to configure around that.
