Voicemail Options for VoIP

[link to this post]

Not sure if here is the best place to post this as it specifically relates to Vodafone but it's worth a go.

My Mum decide to go with Vodafone when PlusNet could not longer offer her FTTC and a landline as her local area has moved to SOGEA. One thing (I am sure I mentioned to Mum at the time) was that Vodafone do not offer any form of Voicemail on their landline service, however other providers do.

However she decided to go with Vodafone, and now wants to have a Voicemail to use.

Mum has a set of these phones from BT which she gets on very well with due to the keypad size, however they don't have any inbuilt voicemail.

Is there a way to somehow set up an old school ansaphone at all?

Thanks in advance.

CJT.

Possibly easiest would be to swap the handsets with integrated voicemail types. Haven’t seen a standalone answering machine in ages.

Thanks TinyMongomery for the link. This may have to be the option going forwards. In all honesty she's had the current phones for years so an upgrade may not be a bad idea.
