SVG files at 72 dpi but different pixels sizes?

[link to this post]

Does anyone know if you have the following files what are the differences:

1. SVG - 72dpi - 300x300pixels
2. SVG - 72dpi - 600x600pixels

If you only ever want to get decent quality images less than 300 pixels will option 1 be suitable?

TIA

Ignore this it was not an SVG - if it was an SVG you can have any pixel size as it is scalable!

The thing I always go by when printing graphics is the DPI of the printer I'm using.

ie, a 600x600 image at 600DPI on a 600DPI printer is doing to be an inch square on the paper.

a 600x600 image saved at 72DPI on a 600DPI printer is going to be 8.3x8.3 inches square on the paper (and blocky).

As far as I'm aware, the DPI of an image makes no difference to on-screen viewing. Only its pixel width/height matters.
