forum software

hi

is the software that is used for this forum commercially available or was it especially written for here?

and, is there a free calender that i could post onto a website that visitors can add entries to?

Btw they seem not interested in selling UBB.* any more and pushing Eve .. their hosted thing... it is still available though..
