Re: Lycos closedown problem

I spoke to Strato and they "cannot provide service if just the nameservers are changed" so I bit teh bullet and moved the registration too - I was probably not actually necessary but could not be bothered with the hassle.

I called Strato's International FreePhone number 00800 and was on hold (at their expense) for well over an hour so any money they take from us over the next year might just cover the call costs.

A question for you - do you know who will be able to host a .aero domain ? And also provide a mail capability?

I have tried several and they all say NO.

Plenty of them - but only available to a select few who can justify it.

Virgin
Geneva Airport
Panasonic

and many others although they often redirect to the .com &c BA

They should be able to advise re email issues.

Cheers!
