Hosting Unlimited down?

Hey there,

I use the above hosting company for my wife's driving instruction website, and noticed today that I can't get my email, cannot get on the website, can't access cpanel, or get their own website at all.

I've tried pinging their addresses and get 100% loss.

I just hope they've not gone down the tubes...

I've tried to contact them on your behalf and there phones ring to an answerphone. It sounds like a suspicious setup to me

Some of there sites don't even have an IP anymore...

They seem to be the company servercentre.net which is also down.

Tel: 0845 034 4343 from googles cache of the site.

I've tried over and over.
It doesn't look good at the moment.

I'll run pingplotter on it for some hours and see if anything changes.

Ahh - should have tried their cache on google - that sounds like bad news...only time will tell I guess.

Oh you're welcome it's really frustrating. Mind if I ask what they were charging and what you got? I'm just curious. Not trying to flog you anything

I was on their elite package, but downgraded to the basic - the site I have is tiny and doesn't use much bandwidth, hence the downgrade.

I think I pay them about £30 per year iirc.

An update.

I am getting erratic pings to them it seems they have some VERY VERY VERY serious networking issues. Looks like either they have terrible packet loss or are being attacked.

You may find her website is reachable sometimes but VERY slowly.

I'll keep you up to date if the erraticism of it changes.

Update for you they seem to be replying to pings now and their websites are coming back online. The latency has also reduced to something tolerable but their sites are slow so I think we're seeing corrective measures as we speak. And I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the site you speak of is reachable albeit slowly now.

Will update you as things change.
